Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, establishing baseline functioning and areas for improvement.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of students and their families, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to facilitate positive change.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes in line with treatment goals.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals, to deliver cohesive care and support.

• Respond to crisis situations with intervention strategies aimed at stabilizing clients during high-stress moments, providing immediate support and resources.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, services provided, and progress notes in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to stay current with emerging trends and best practices in social work and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be supporting school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and difficulties arising from life transitions, such as family divorce or grief. By creating a welcoming and supportive virtual counseling environment, you will inspire hope and facilitate healing, empowering students to cope effectively with their circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university is required.

• A valid and active state license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker in Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
