Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine patient mental health status, clinical needs, and treatment goals.

• Design individualized treatment plans incorporating suitable therapeutic modalities, utilizing evidence-based practices to address clients’ unique challenges.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions with clients, equipping them with coping strategies and necessary tools to manage mental health conditions effectively.

• Provide referrals to additional healthcare professionals when necessary, such as psychiatrists for medication management.
\n
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development through training and attending seminars to stay current in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals facing issues related to substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health challenges. Your ability to apply cultural competence in therapy is essential to building trust and rapport with clients from different backgrounds. You will engage in both individual and group therapy sessions, leading discussions that promote healing and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in the mental health field.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and treatment approaches, with an emphasis on evidence-based methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
