Work Environment\n

This position is remote, enabling you to provide care from the comfort of your own environment while still being connected with your colleagues and clients through telehealth platforms. Our telehealth facility ensures that you have the necessary tools to deliver high-quality mental health services effectively. Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to accommodate patient needs, primarily during our core hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identify their unique treatment needs.

• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, promoting resilience and overall well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that your approach meets the best practices in the field.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to deliver cohesive and integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during any trauma-related emergencies that may arise.
\n
• Offer education to clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Document all patient interactions and progress accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings while contributing to professional development activities focused on trauma-informed methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and treatment approaches in trauma therapy, continuously striving for professional excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and groups who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and other traumatic events. Your empathetic approach will be key in helping these clients navigate their recovery journeys within a supportive and understanding framework.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably with a trauma-focused emphasis.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building practices.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively and sensitively.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and their families.
\n
• The ability to maintain composure and a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
