Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with the primary care team to recognize, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues affecting our patients.

• Conducting thorough patient intakes focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations to inform treatment goals and plans.
\n
• Providing brief and focused interventions for patients requiring mental health support, ensuring timely and effective care.
\n
• Assessing patients' needs to determine whether they should remain in primary care or be referred to specialty mental health facilities.
\n
• Monitoring patient progress post-treatment and adjusting interventions when necessary, including developing relapse prevention plans.
\n
• Documenting patient progress meticulously in treatment charts and keeping primary care providers informed of patients' needs and developments.
\n
• Educating patients on self-management skills and suitable coping strategies to foster their involvement in their treatment journey.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with medical treatment recommended by primary care providers, including managing medication side effects.
\n
• Consulting with clinic management and other team members regarding behavioral health services and enhancing program outcomes through feedback and evaluation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of patients seeking support for mental health concerns. This includes adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional or psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish will be favored, as this enhances our ability to serve our diverse patient community. Additionally, experience working within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and knowledge of community resources are valuable assets that help in providing comprehensive care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a SIGN-ON BONUS for qualified candidates.
