This role is primarily remote, allowing you the comfort and flexibility of working from your own space. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to patient care. You will also frequently utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient progress and communication.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mountain Springs Wellness & Counseling Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient intakes to assess mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
\n
• Providing focused, therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders.
\n
• Collaborating with primary care providers to inform treatment decisions and ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual circumstances.
\n
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, maintaining open communication with both patients and care teams.
\n
• Creating relapse prevention strategies to help clients achieve and sustain stable, productive lives.
\n
• Documenting all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in the EHR system in accordance with agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.

• Facilitating connections with external treatment providers when necessary, maintaining a strong focus on integrated care.
\n
• Providing psychoeducation to patients and families to foster understanding and compliance with proposed treatment strategies, including medication management.
\n
• Actively participating in team meetings, contributing insights from behavioral health services to improve outcomes and program evaluation.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited program.

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
\n
• Robust knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic techniques, including family and group therapy methodologies.

• Understanding of the DSM-IV diagnoses and behavioral therapies.
\n
• Effective communication skills and the ability to establish working relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate patients' needs and treatment effectiveness.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 annually.
