Work Environment\n

This role is structured for a remote work environment, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while maintaining consistent engagement with your clients. Our outpatient office setting ensures that you will have the resources and support necessary to deliver high-quality care while also providing flexibility in scheduling. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with potential for some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients, leveraging solution-focused interventions to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring the application of effective strategies in your practice.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulatory standards, while utilizing electronic health record systems to streamline documentation.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to create and execute comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance the services provided and integrate feedback for continual improvement in client care.

• Educate and support clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatments, and community resources, empowering them with knowledge and coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive symptoms. Your role will involve understanding the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients in Berkeley, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic approach to meet varied cultural and individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active, unrestricted licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Proficient understanding of solution-based psychotherapy interventions, with a demonstrated ability to adapt techniques to cater to individual client needs.
