Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, including thorough history taking and physical assessments, in accordance with departmental protocols to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills in women's health, performing procedures such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, and pessary fittings.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary team members to formulate and execute individualized care plans for patients with complex health needs.
• Act as a patient advocate by considering the holistic aspects of each patient's life, including their psychological, cultural, and spiritual needs, thereby fostering a supportive healthcare environment.
• Coordinate patient care by actively participating in multidisciplinary meetings and maintaining effective communication channels with the healthcare team to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Review and interpret medical records alongside diagnostic study orders, following established guidelines to ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies for documentation, tracking patient progress, and effective communication.
• Maintain compliance with legal standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and applying risk management principles in all clinical practices.
• Respond effectively during emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure prompt intervention and care.
• Exhibit a service-oriented approach in all patient interactions, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional healthcare and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve female patients within the school environment. This role entails the assessment and treatment of health concerns ranging from reproductive health to mental well-being. By fostering a supportive and welcoming environment, our practitioners help to empower female patients, encouraging them to prioritize their health and pursue preventive care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of New York, along with required certifications (CDS & DEA).
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, demonstrating competence in clinical skills and patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a school or educational healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Engagement with adolescent and young adult populations in women's health care.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary structure offers earnings ranging from $120,000 to $220,000 annually, contingent on your experience and expertise in the field. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
