Work Environment

The Nurse Practitioner will operate onsite at one of our educational facilities in Syracuse, where the environment is dynamic and requires adaptability. Key Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high-quality medical care consistent with established national and community standards, ensuring safety and efficiency in all patient interactions.
• Collaborate with office staff to develop and implement efficient office practices that promote streamlined patient flow and effective communication.
• Engage with practice management and hospital administration to advocate for the practice’s needs and enhance operational effectiveness within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks and standards, safeguarding the quality of care provided.
• Deliver exceptional patient management and care, demonstrating a commitment to the overall health system’s strategic goals.
• Serve as a role model for patient-centered practice, ensuring that patient interests are always prioritized in healthcare decisions.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, documenting patient care within two business days of service to aid in continuity of care, billing, and regulatory purposes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve the student population within the school setting, addressing a variety of health concerns ranging from acute illnesses to chronic condition management. A strong emphasis will be placed on understanding the unique healthcare needs of children and adolescents, incorporating growth and developmental considerations into all assessment and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• NYS certification/registration as a Family, Adult, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Current AANP Board Certification.
• Active DEA license is required.
• Must have the capability to obtain appropriate privileges with FFTH.
• Preferred familiarity with ICD10 coding for effective clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly within pediatrics or similar demographics.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
