Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients to design individualized therapy strategies that address their unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, creating a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue and healing.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards while documenting client progress.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions to stay current with advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population including individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. The clients you serve may be facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical context.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
