Work Environment\n

This role is structured to be fully remote, providing flexibility in balancing professional responsibilities with personal commitments. You will be engaging with students, parents, and educational staff from your home office while utilizing our secure telehealth platforms. Your work hours will primarily be Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, allowing you to create a stable routine that promotes both your and your clients' well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the emotional and behavioral needs of students, developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate the latest social work interventions.

• Provide ongoing counseling services, including individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on fostering resilience and coping strategies among students.

• Implement crisis intervention techniques to address immediate needs, ensuring safety and emotional support for students in distress.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in accordance with organizational protocols and regulatory guidelines.

• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and actively contribute to case management meetings to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans.

• Network with community resource groups, representing Empower Well Health Care Center in meetings aimed at addressing the broader social and emotional needs of our client population.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students within the school setting, ranging in age from elementary to high school. This role is critical in addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and adjustment challenges that impact academic performance and personal development. By delivering professional therapeutic services, you will help students develop skills to manage their mental health and thrive in their educational environments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid independent license such as Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a related setting, demonstrating proficiency in counseling methods and therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within educational settings or with children and adolescents is preferred, as it equips you with the unique skills necessary to address the specific mental health challenges faced by students. Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous for efficient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
