Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to discuss progress, adjust treatment plans, and manage discharges as appropriate.

• Create, implement, and regularly assess person-centered treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Document all client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans meticulously to ensure continuity of care.

• Conduct intake assessments to determine client needs and develop appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, working closely with clients on a weekly basis to facilitate their mental health goals.

• Engage in regular supervision sessions to support your professional development and clinical skills enhancement.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work with a diverse group of clients, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience while providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Ability to fulfill the requirements for internal credentialing in relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric populations and/or individuals struggling with substance abuse.
