Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will engage in a variety of essential duties. These include:

• Implementing comprehensive treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring each client’s unique needs are met effectively.

• Conducting in-depth assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, including psychosocial factors, and developing individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Providing psychoeducation specifically focused on perinatal mental health, equipping clients with vital resources and tools.

• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of treatment plans, daily progress notes, incident reports, attendance, and discharge summaries to track clients' progress continuously.

• Facilitating and leading therapeutic consumer groups to foster community and connection among participants.
\n
• Participating actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to foster teamwork and enhance service delivery.
\n
• Conducting individual meetings as needed with clients, families, and community partners to develop supportive care strategies.
\n
• Advocating for clients' social service needs, connecting with local agencies and civic organizations to provide additional resources and support.
\n
• Collaborating with interns, volunteers, and other staff members in planning and promoting engaging activities tailored to the needs of each consumer.

• Developing relationships with potential referral sources, including healthcare facilities, to generate intake referrals.
\n
• Upholding confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards per the Code of Ethics of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.

• Assisting with the maintenance of JCAHO accreditation and MHRS certification by implementing compliance standards and best practices.

• Completing additional duties as assigned by the clinical team.

This role focuses primarily on individuals facing perinatal mental health issues, including prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in Washington State, meeting all state regulations.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• A clean record with no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party check.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain comprehensive records in a telehealth setting.

Preferred Experience\n

We value candidates with additional experience in perinatal mental health therapy, telehealth service delivery, and familiarization with JCAHO and Medicaid compliance standards. Experience in facilitating group therapy or support groups will also be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
