Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs.

• Provide high-quality psychoeducation on perinatal mental health topics and facilitate workshops or group sessions for consumers.

• Maintain compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards, and contribute to achieving accreditation and certifications.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress accurately and comprehensively, ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times.
\n
• Engage with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and share valuable insights on client cases during meetings and conferences.
\n
• Develop and maintain connections with local agencies to foster community involvement and resource sharing for clients.
\n
• Facilitate and lead support groups for consumers, focusing on peer interaction and shared experiences.

• Assist clients in navigating social service needs, offering advocacy and referrals as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on clients experiencing perinatal challenges, including postpartum depression, anxiety disorders, and other related mental health issues. As a counselor, you will work with diverse individuals, including new parents and families, providing empathetic support and interventions tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• A valid Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with Washington State regulations.

• Proven expertise in coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient mental health setting.

• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating an ability to share information clearly, listen actively, and respect the expertise of others.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verifiable by a third-party background check.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience\n
