Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to establish a comprehensive understanding of each client's mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting cases meticulously from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental health status and devise personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups while ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and methodologies suited to each client’s unique needs.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process to ensure ongoing effectiveness and satisfaction.

• Collaborate effectively with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to create cohesive and comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Maintain regular communication with care teams to follow up on clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and addressing potential barriers to recovery.

• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing appropriate guidance and resources to clients and their families.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges, promoting a network of support that fosters recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse demographic, including individuals coping with various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current active licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois is mandatory.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.

• Demonstrable experience in mental health counseling with a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Background in dealing with complex behavioral health issues, including co-occurring physical health conditions and addiction.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A deep understanding of pharmacological interventions related to mental health and their effects on clients.

• Exceptional skills in both written and verbal communication, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities and compassion for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
