The work setting for this role is primarily remote, enabling you to provide therapy from the comfort of your home or any preferred location. However, you may also have opportunities to engage with clients in-person at our outpatient office in Valdosta when needed. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily activities will be diverse and impactful. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic services to clients facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and stress management.

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments, to inform and develop tailored treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs and goals.

• Utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused techniques to facilitate client growth and healing.

• Building strong therapeutic relationships with clients to foster trust, empowering them to set goals and implement effective treatment strategies that lead to meaningful change.

• Addressing crises promptly, providing immediate support and intervention to ensure client safety and stability.
\n
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation that adheres to ethical guidelines, state regulations, and organizational policies.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and other counselors—to ensure holistic care and continuity for each client.

• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and possibly provide supervision or mentorship to interns or less experienced counselors.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing therapy in an outpatient or clinical setting is essential.

• Strong clinical assessment skills with a demonstrated ability to create effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• A thorough understanding of ethical principles, confidentiality laws, and best practices in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year based on experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
