Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of adults facing various mental health challenges.
\n
• Administer comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments to evaluate each client's mental health status and therapeutic requirements.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include coping strategies and skills for anger management and risk behavior reduction, including self-injury and aggression.
\n
• Support clients and their caregivers in enhancing decision-making skills to tackle in-home behavioral challenges more effectively.
\n
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients and their families, optimizing treatment outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including intake forms, treatment plans, DAP notes, and progress assessments, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings and submit necessary reports weekly to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse population of adult clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and other behavioral issues. This role provides a platform to make a significant difference in their lives while gaining valuable experience in various therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• Active and unrestricted license as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
\n
• Demonstrated clinical mental health training.
\n
• Post-internship field experience working with adult clients in a clinical setting.
\n
• Competence in creating treatment plans and setting achievable treatment goals, along with maintaining progress notes and other clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with various counseling methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.

• Experience in applying the DSM-5 for client assessments and diagnoses.
\n
• Proficiency in providing positive behavior interventions and support.
\n
• Willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training, if not already certified.
\n
• Submission of a resume complemented with a copy of your Master’s degree and appropriate state licensure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
