This position operates entirely remotely, utilizing telehealth technologies to conduct therapy sessions with patients. Your work schedule will typically run Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to adapt to patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally informed mental health assessments to tailor individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique experiences.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusted to respect the cultural and personal backgrounds of the clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on resilience building, coping strategies, and addressing mental health challenges.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment plans and outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention support for clients in distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and effective communication strategies to promote safety and stability.

• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, options for treatment, and available community resources that support recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case reviews and training sessions, promoting cultural competency and staying abreast of current therapeutic practices and research.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
