Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing LPCs the opportunity to work comfortably from home while being part of a collaborative and supportive virtual environment. Our outpatient practice offers a hybrid approach, enabling you to engage with clients through telemedicine as well as in-person sessions when necessary. We encourage our counselors to actively participate in team meetings and monthly workshops, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities\n

The responsibilities of the Licensed Professional Counselor will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and counseling sessions to individuals, couples, and families, including modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapies.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay current with best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LPCs work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. You will play a crucial role in guiding these individuals through their therapeutic journey, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in the counseling field for at least two years, with a preference for those with clinical experience.

• A strong foundation in various therapeutic techniques and an understanding of legal, ethical, and professional standards in behavioral health.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to forge meaningful relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
\n
• A background in community outreach or psychoeducation initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
