Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will be working in a warm and supportive onsite rehabilitation environment from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to develop appropriate treatment goals and objectives.
• Maintain a structured patient load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized and focused care.
• Administer effective therapy interventions that utilize manual techniques and exercise programs, focusing on enhancing each patient's range of motion and mobility.
• Develop comprehensive and targeted treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Encourage patient independence by promoting self-management strategies and providing education about alternative, non-invasive treatment options.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs that encourage lifestyle adjustments to improve patient outcomes.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans in response to their evolving needs and outcomes.
• Accurately document patient information and therapy delivered using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients and their families to educate them about therapy processes, treatment plans, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to share insights on patient progress and enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological disorders, and other mobility impairments. You will focus on creating a safe, trusting environment where patients feel empowered to discuss their challenges and progress openly. By encouraging their active participation in the rehabilitation process, you will foster a sense of ownership over their health journey.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, essential for effective patient treatment.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement personalized exercise programs that meet individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to manage a high volume of patient interactions and complex cases.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, contributing insights and fostering collective efforts towards improved patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, based on your experience and skill level.
