Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite and involves working directly in patients' homes throughout the Orlando area. You will enjoy a supportive and collaborative work environment equipped with state-of-the-art tools and resources, including effective EMR software like WebPT. Our team is small yet dynamic, prioritizing flexibility and adaptability while maintaining a high standard of care. Your schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM, which allows for work-life balance while meeting our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' mobility issues and craft personalized treatment plans.
• Administer hands-on therapies that enhance range of motion, improve strength, and promote overall physical wellness.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, techniques used, and self-management strategies.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to achieve desired rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to refine care plans and ensure comprehensive support for all patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and outcomes, adhering to best practices in patient records management.
• Encourage patient adherence to therapy protocols, motivating them through challenges to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Take part in continuous professional development initiatives such as workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population requiring home care services, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, and rehabilitating from injuries. You will play a crucial role in empowering patients to regain independence and improve their overall quality of life through personalized therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement customized exercise programs effectively.
• Strong communication skills for patient education and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage patient records and treatment documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, specifically related to home care.
• Experience working with electronic medical records, particularly WebPT.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful patient care plans.

Compensation and Benefits
