Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, delivering therapy services directly in patients' homes. You will work weekdays, Monday to Friday, which allows a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans focused on preventing disabilities and relieving pain while enhancing and restoring muscle function.
• Evaluate clients' functional levels using advanced diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, and joint capabilities.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the successful implementation of care plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' home environments, offering tailored recommendations that promote independence and rehabilitation success.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual exercises, traction, and massage, effectively engaging clients in their rehabilitation journeys.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to standards required by governing bodies.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and strategies for holistic patient care.
• Educate clients and their families about therapy devices and overall treatment protocols, ensuring they feel supported throughout their recovery process.
• Order and process therapeutic equipment as necessary, coordinating seamlessly with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of therapy programs and adjust care plans as necessary, fostering an environment of adaptability and responsiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Refined Body Therapy Services, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including elderly patients recovering from surgeries, individuals with chronic pain conditions, and those requiring rehabilitation post-injury. Your ability to tailor your therapeutic approach based on patient history and personal goals will be vital in enhancing their rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist, preferably within home care or acute care settings.
• Active and unrestricted PT licensure in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated passion for clinical excellence and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

Refined Body Therapy Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
