Work Environment

This position involves providing care in the home environment, which allows you to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement personalized physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function, in accordance with developed care plans.
• Oversee the implementation of care plans by physical therapy assistants, ensuring the quality of treatment standards are met.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess clients' functional abilities and levels.
• Customize rehabilitation recommendations by evaluating clients' home environments to enhance their independence.
• Deliver prescribed physical therapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as traction and massage.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, reporting significant changes in condition and collaborating with physicians and case managers to adjust care plans accordingly.
• Prepare detailed clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Engage with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, providing education on therapy programs and fostering a collaborative care environment.
• Supervise and instruct physical therapy assistants in their delivery of care, while ensuring adherence to state regulations and company protocols.
• Participate in ongoing development of care plans and review processes to optimize therapy outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, typically those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal systems. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including elderly individuals, athletes, and post-operative patients, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet their specific recovery needs.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid physical therapy licensure in the State of Florida, ensuring compliance with all licensing requirements.
• Current CPR certification demonstrating readiness for medical emergencies.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate travel between patient homes.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective engagement with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in acute care or home health settings.
• Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations.
• Demonstrated capacity for independent decision-making in clinical settings.
• Experience with rehabilitation technology and equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
