This position is fully remote, offering flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules while providing essential mental health services. Employees in this role will primarily interact with clients via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility for those seeking support from the comfort of their homes. As part of a community health clinic, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, which enhances the delivery of quality care in a nurturing and flexible environment. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with the understanding that some adjustment may be necessary depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for new clients, utilizing a range of evidence-based practices to formulate comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.

• Implement various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to meet the client's unique needs.

• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements while ensuring that all patient records reflect accurate and timely updates.

• Engage in collaborative meetings with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to discuss treatment strategies and develop a cohesive care approach.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and peer reviews to enhance treatment efficacy and receive feedback on therapeutic techniques employed.

• Provide education and resources to clients and families concerning mental health conditions, evidence-based treatment options, and available community support services.

• Stay informed on current research and emerging trends in mental health to continually improve therapeutic practices and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population for this role includes adults and adolescents experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and family dynamics. The therapist will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a culturally competent approach to care that respects individuality and unique life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Proficiency in implementing solution-oriented psychotherapy interventions, demonstrating a firm grounding in therapeutic techniques and adaptability to clients' diverse needs.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster rapport and trust with clients and their families.
