Amarante Orthopedic Clinic in Stephens City, Virginia, is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team full-time. In this role, you will work closely with patients to restore their mobility and enhance their overall functional abilities. Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite work at our rehabilitation facility. The standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a manageable work-life balance while contributing to meaningful patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' needs, establish treatment goals, and design individualized care plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions to improve patients' range of motion, strength, and overall function, while minimizing the reliance on medications or invasive surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Encourage and educate patients on wellness, fitness, and preventative care, fostering healthier lifestyle choices and habits.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress utilizing electronic medical record software (familiarity with WebPT is preferred).
• Engage in peer consultations and contribute to team meetings to discuss case histories and treatment progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Amarante Orthopedic Clinic, you will primarily work with patients experiencing a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Our facility generally accommodates patients with private health insurance, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care tailored to their individual circumstances.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted Virginia Physical Therapist License.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in prescribing therapeutic exercises.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR software, especially WebPT, to manage patient documentation and records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in developing care plans and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Background in sports medicine or rehabilitation practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, retirement plans, continuing education allowances, and paid time off.
