This full-time position allows for remote work, predominantly servicing family needs within a school context in Tacoma, Washington. This position is structured around a remote work setting, enabling flexibility for the clinician to engage with clients in their homes or community environments. While the role is primarily conducted outside the traditional office setting, the clinician will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, integrating efforts with educators, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of developmental status during multidisciplinary team meetings, interpreting findings to develop individualized plans that respond effectively to the child’s needs.

• Facilitate and implement direct intervention strategies that engage children aged 0-3 through developmentally appropriate activities that support their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

• Develop detailed Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that outline personalized goals and strategies in collaboration with families, ensuring that interventions align with their unique family dynamics and cultural contexts.

• Document clinical progress meticulously through progress notes, assessments, and correspondence, maintaining compliance with all regulatory guidelines and confidentiality standards.

• Provide both individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers exhibiting developmental delays, focusing on enhancing skills in self-care, communication, fine and gross motor development.

• Evaluate and monitor family strengths and challenges, establishing a supportive environment where families can express concerns and celebrate progress.

• Serve as a primary service coordinator, orchestrating intervention plans, managing schedules, and ensuring timely follow-through on all aspects of care.

• Empower families through advocacy, guidance, and professional support to enhance parent-child interactions, fostering independence and resilience within the family unit.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
