Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer a variety of physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Guide and motivate patients in performing therapeutic activities, ensuring they understand the objectives and benefits of their treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and effectiveness of treatments, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing observations and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and adaptations to enhance recovery.
• Collaborate with support staff and paraprofessionals to coordinate care and ensure a seamless rehabilitation process.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care and support the continuous improvement of our services.
• Engage in mentorship mentoring programs and serve as a preceptor for new staff and students, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse range of patients suffering from musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, post-surgical recovery, and age-related mobility issues. Our patient population typically includes athletes, active adults, and seniors seeking to regain mobility or manage chronic pain. Your role will be vital in providing tailored care that addresses the unique needs of each individual, thereby fostering positive outcomes and improving overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current physical therapy licensure in good standing with the California State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy or a Master of Science/Doctorate in Physical Therapy, depending on graduation year.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, though motivated candidates with less experience may be considered.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in treating a range of conditions in a clinical setting, particularly within a rehabilitation environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to accurately document patient care.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 4 to 5 patients per day efficiently while delivering exceptional patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
