This position is primarily remote, which allows for flexibility in work hours while still maintaining a structured and supportive environment. Weekly team meetings and case reviews are conducted virtually, ensuring all team members remain connected and informed about client progress and organizational practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed initial assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance abuse needs of clients to determine appropriate treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect assessment findings and align with best practices in therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, applying a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the client’s needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure integration of care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client outcomes.

• Participate actively in case reviews and treatment planning meetings, contributing to the development of coherent treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support to clients in distress as required, employing effective de-escalation techniques.

• Stay informed about emerging trends, research findings, and best practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment to continuously enhance skill sets.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on working with a diverse population of adults and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. The ideal counselor will adopt a holistic approach, understanding the significance of each client’s background, culture, and personal experiences in shaping their treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
