Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health and substance use concerns, with a focus on identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop detailed, personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions suited to address their unique needs.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to clients, facilitating the development of coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.

• Coordinate care effectively with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure that clients receive integrated and holistic support throughout their recovery journey.

• Implement regular monitoring for substance use, employing motivational interviewing techniques to guide and encourage clients in their recovery efforts.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment compliance for long-term success.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of treatment interventions and client progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Proven proficiency in evidence-based therapies tailored for co-occurring disorders, specifically Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• An in-depth understanding of the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with clients facing co-occurring mental health and substance use issues.

• Prior experience in an integrated care setting.

• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes for substance use and mental health services in the Fresno area.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD $75,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
