Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, mobility, and overall physical health to establish baseline metrics.
• Develop, implement, and adjust tailored treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations, utilizing a blend of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced modalities as needed.
• Monitor and document patients' progress in achieving their rehabilitation goals, ensuring all metrics align with the established treatment plans.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation practices, self-care techniques, and effective use of assistive devices when necessary.
• Engage in regular reevaluation of patient progress, adjusting treatment goals and plans as appropriate to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies and assist in integrated recovery plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated on the latest physical therapy practices and innovations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves treating patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in New York.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within orthopedic care.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology tools for tracking patient information.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
