Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for approximately 7 patients per day, assessing mobility, strength, and overall physical function.

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and home care strategies to enhance recovery.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, equipment, and exercise techniques to facilitate rehabilitation and improve functionality.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care, participating in regular case reviews.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid New York State Physical Therapist License.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
