Experienced Physical Therapist - Onsite Rehabilitation Role

Work Environment

At Echo Rehabilitation Center, you will work in a skilled nursing facility equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technologies and resources. Our team collaborates closely to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. You will benefit from a structured schedule, providing work-life balance with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities

• You will manage a caseload of approximately 7 patients per day, delivering individualized therapy sessions based on thorough assessments.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs, incorporating measures and assessments relevant to their recovery goals.
• Develop, implement, and adjust tailored treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Establish measurable, realistic goals for each patient's recovery trajectory, actively monitoring and documenting their progress throughout the treatment process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
• Engage and educate patients and their families on rehabilitation protocols and wellness strategies, fostering a supportive recovery environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or managing chronic conditions. Our patient demographic includes individuals of all ages, with a focus on elderly residents needing specialized rehabilitation services. Your role will be essential in facilitating their recovery, improving physical function, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State Physical Therapist License is required.
• Completion of a Master's in Physical Therapy (MSPT) or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in developing and implementing specialized treatment plans for geriatric patients will be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment progress effectively.
• Certification in specialized therapeutic modalities such as Dry Needling or Kinesiotaping is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
