Work Environment

This position is primarily an onsite role where you will visit patients in their homes across Jersey City and nearby areas. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Agile Strength, you will:

• Consult with patients to gather relevant medical history and understand their physical condition and symptoms.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose movement dysfunction and design individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Educate patients on effective therapeutic exercises and techniques, demonstrating proper usage to promote safety and efficacy.
• Implement hands-on treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques such as massage and therapeutic stimulation to encourage healing.
• Assist patients in the proper use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices to enhance their independence.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records, tracking progress and setting achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding at-home treatment options and exercises to facilitate ongoing progress.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and record keeping.
• A flexible approach to patient care, adapting strategies to meet the diverse needs of clients.

Preferred Experience

Professionals looking to apply should ideally have at least two years of experience in the field, with a focus on home care settings. Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations will be advantageous, particularly in terms of tailoring therapeutic interventions to address varying physical capabilities and health concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive yearly salary in the range of USD 100,000 – 120,000, complemented by a generous benefits package. This includes:
