Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a personalized caseload of clients, establishing rapport and nurturing relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, discuss stability, and set goals, making necessary referrals or discharge plans when appropriate.
\n
• Develop, implement, and regularly review person-centered treatment plans tailored to individual client needs and circumstances.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates for each client.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate the needs and challenges of new clients, ensuring accurate identification of their mental health concerns.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, conducting weekly meetings designed to support and empower clients through their mental health journeys.
\n
• Engage in ongoing individual supervision and collaborative consultation with other healthcare providers to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Foster a growth mindset, proactively seeking feedback and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse client population ranges from children to adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. As an LPC at Body & Soul, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals and families from different backgrounds, contributing to their healing journey with evidence-based therapeutic practices tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in the state of Arizona.
\n
• At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is essential.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing technology, including familiarity with software tools such as Outlook, RMS systems, and Excel spreadsheets for documentation and communications.

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, demonstrating skills in effective therapeutic communication and intervention.
\n
• Comfortable and adept at conducting comprehensive intake assessments.

Preferred Experience\n

• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic areas or advanced techniques (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care) are preferred.

• Previous work experience in a remote or hybrid counseling setup is advantageous but not mandatory.
