Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients via secure video conferencing technology to enhance their mental health and overall well-being. Engage clients in open discussions regarding their emotions and life experiences, guiding them to gain insight into their internal struggles and relationships. Act as a strong advocate for clients, helping them articulate and achieve personal goals for mental health improvement. Evaluate each client’s mental health status and tailor treatment plans based on an evidence-based, solution-focused approach. Collaborate with clients to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to foster positive outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will work with a clientele composed primarily of stable adults facing low-acuity issues. This focus allows our therapists to concentrate on providing high-quality care while ensuring manageable caseloads that promote fulfilling therapeutic relationships. Through our comprehensive screening process, we ensure our therapists are matched with clients best suited to their expertise and style. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling. Active LMFT license issued by a state board; provisional or limited licenses are not accepted. Demonstrated ability to conduct professional evaluations and make sound decisions regarding treatment planning and implementation. Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and a compassionate approach to client care. Proficiency in utilizing technology for providing therapy services, with strong computer literacy skills. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in the mental health field, particularly in therapy settings focusing on marriage and family dynamics. Experience with teletherapy platforms and a thorough understanding of best practices in remote counseling. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques to address a spectrum of mental health concerns.
