Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs and concerns of each patient; develop tailored and actionable treatment plans based on these evaluations.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families. Leverage various modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to guide sessions toward successful outcomes.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions to foster community and provide additional insight into common mental health challenges.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrative approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering timely support during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and emotional stabilization.
• Educate patients about their mental health diagnoses, treatment paths, and available community resources, cultivating awareness and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Engage in professional development through continued education, staying abreast of the latest research and therapeutic techniques in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals across all ages, socio-economic backgrounds, and mental health conditions. Your sensitive approach will help address issues surrounding depression, anxiety, trauma, and more complex psychological challenges. Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans tailored to diverse populations.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to foster rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
• Strong ethical judgment and the capacity to maintain professional boundaries.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools for documentation and patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly in community health clinics and mental health facilities.
• Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and psychoeducation.
• Background in crisis intervention and emergency mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits
