Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space while still being connected to a dynamic, multicultural team. Although your primary workdays will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there may be some flexibility necessary to accommodate varying patient needs. You’ll have access to virtual tools that facilitate efficient communication and care coordination among team members.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account diverse cultural backgrounds in order to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and culturally responsive techniques when implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at addressing and alleviating mental health issues, while fostering resilience among clients.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to create a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies, ensuring immediate support for those in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and community resources to empower their mental wellness journeys.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to continuously enhance personal and organizational practices.

• Stay updated with the latest research in mental health and cultural considerations to provide optimal care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele who seek assistance with various mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals from different cultural backgrounds, as well as underserved populations such as immigrants and members of the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that each patient receives tailored support that respects their unique identity and experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, with a focus on cultural competence.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy with a culturally sensitive approach.
\n
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, maintaining composure and clarity in challenging situations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic healthcare records (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
