Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during initial client sessions to understand their mental health status and therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to address specific client concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques and interventions to ensure progress and engagement.

• Provide ongoing education and resources to clients that empower them with tools to manage their mental health and achieve their goals.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring cohesive care and referrals when necessary, such as to psychiatrists for medication evaluation.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all client interactions and treatment modifications within the EHR system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from varied backgrounds, representing a rich tapestry of cultures and experiences. They may present with common mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, as well as complex health concerns that require sensitivity and cultural awareness in treatment. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of four years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in working with diverse patient populations.

• Rich understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, including familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.

• Strong crisis intervention skills paired with a calm and composed demeanor in high-stress scenarios.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software.

• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
