Key Responsibilities\n

• Engaging in ongoing communication with physicians and educational staff to track student progress, address concerns, and identify potential behavioral health challenges.

• Maintaining comprehensive and timely documentation of clinical interactions and progress notes, adhering to the department's standards and regulations.

• Collaboratively developing treatment plans, including discharge strategies, based on thorough psychosocial assessments and evidence-based social work interventions.

• Providing crisis intervention and counseling to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties, employing techniques tailored to each individual’s needs.

• Consulting with families and support networks to ensure cohesive and comprehensive treatment and discharge planning, advocating for the students' best interests throughout.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clients for this position are students in an educational setting, ranging from elementary to high school aged. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by young individuals, including anxiety, depression, social skills deficits, and family dynamics. Your interventions will play a crucial role in providing support that enhances their academic performance and personal development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting, preferably with children and adolescents.

• Proficient computer and technology skills, including expertise in electronic medical records, telehealth platforms, and standard office software such as Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience\n
