Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, focusing on orthopedic issues and determining the best course of treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and responses to therapy.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, outcomes, and modifications in a timely and accurate manner.
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, effective self-management strategies, and appropriate exercises to promote recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through continuous education and participation in relevant workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic includes children, adults, and seniors, each with unique needs and challenges. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Preferred Experience
