Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through the use of structured clinical interviews and validated assessment tools.

• Document comprehensive case notes and treatment progress from intake through the duration of therapy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques tailored to client goals and treatment objectives.
\n
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans proactively to ensure effective outcomes, addressing any challenges that may arise during therapy.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health specialists, primary care providers, and community resources to coordinate care and enhance client support.

• Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospitalization or medication management, ensuring continuity of care.

• Engage with family members and caregivers, equipping them with resources and strategies to support their loved ones in managing behavioral health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to facilitate documentation and client tracking.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a telehealth or outpatient setting.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders, trauma-informed care, and the implications of various physical and mental health conditions.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and evidence-based methods of treatment.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and how prescribed medications impact treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
