This role is performed in a remote setting, allowing for greater flexibility while maintaining high-quality engagement with clients. As a member of our outpatient team, you will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions, making mental health support accessible to our clients from the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, documenting detailed case histories from the initial consultation to treatment conclusion.

• Assess the mental, behavioral, and emotional well-being of clients, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and interventions to promote healing and growth.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure each patient is moving toward their recovery goals.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Provide necessary referrals to additional resources as appropriate, ensuring clients receive holistic support.

• Educate and empower family members and caregivers to help manage challenges related to mental health, fostering a supportive home environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse population of clients, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Our clients range from children and adolescents to families and adults. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Successful completion with a passing score of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficient with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to enhance client care and documentation efficiency.
\n
• Solid understanding of mental health conditions and the impact of potential co-occurring physical health issues and addiction.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey empathy and support effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others navigate mental health difficulties.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient setting.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• In-depth knowledge of psychotropic medications and their implications for patient treatment.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
