Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake sessions and initial assessments to identify client treatment needs, performing a thorough Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessment to develop tailored care plans.

• Utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM V) to formulate accurate mental health diagnoses, ensuring a scientifically backed approach to treatment.

• Create and implement effective treatment plans based on standard practices that address individual client diagnoses, incorporating various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior modification, and brief therapy approaches.

• Provide therapy and supportive counseling to individuals, families, groups, and communities, focusing on fostering healthy communication and coping strategies.

• Respond to crisis situations with empathy and urgency, effectively assessing the clinical needs of clients and coordinating necessary interventions and referrals.

• Deliver training sessions and educational workshops in clinical topics to staff and community members, enhancing awareness of mental health issues and systemic barriers faced by clients.

• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, ensuring they adhere to best practices and quality care standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program.

• Effective management of a large caseload while maintaining high-quality care and attention to each client.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and familiarity with windows applications to streamline documentation processes.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly through electronic mail, to ensure clear and compassionate correspondence with clients and staff.

• A solid understanding of co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders, equipping you to address complex client needs.
