Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments in a culturally sensitive manner, identifying clients’ unique experiences to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring approaches to accommodate individual patient backgrounds and preferences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing various mental health concerns and fostering resilience and well-being among patients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive care approach that optimally supports the patient’s journey.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely assistance when they need it most.

Serving the Chula Vista area of California, we cater to a wide-ranging patient population, focusing on individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and communities. Clients come to us with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. As a counselor, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and welcoming environment that encourages open communication and healing.

Qualifications\n

• Active state license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or PhD) with a capability for independent practice.

• Demonstrated engagement skills and thorough understanding of therapeutic interventions.

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; graduate level credentials (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD) required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in telehealth services or remote therapeutic practice is highly desirable.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience is preferred, with an ability to adapt to changing patient needs and environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an annual salary range of USD 74,000 to 104,000, supplemented with a generous signing bonus. Additionally, mental health counselors receive competitive compensation based on their licensure level. Our benefits package includes high volumes of regular client referrals, zero administrative workload, and the flexibility to tailor your work hours between 5 to 40 hours per week, allowing you to create a schedule that promotes work-life balance.
