Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations, documenting case histories thoroughly to guide treatment planning.

• Develop targeted and individualized treatment plans for clients, integrating therapeutic methods tailored to their specific needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage participation, self-reflection, and progress tracking.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies based on feedback and behavioral observations.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals—including physicians, social workers, and nurses—to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to client care.

• Manage and track referrals to additional services, providing clients with comprehensive resources for their recovery journey.

• Assist clients in recognizing and overcoming behaviors that may hinder their wellness, providing structured support throughout their recovery process.

• Educate and support family members and caregivers in navigating mental health challenges, reinforcing the family unit's role in the healing process.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other mental health disorders. Our clients may come from various backgrounds, and your role will be vital in fostering a compassionate space where they can feel safe to share their experiences and seek guidance. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong background in mental health counseling with a minimum number of clinical hours as mandated by licensure.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to efficiently document client interactions and treatment plans.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders and co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions that may impact therapy.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.

Compensation and Benefits\n
