Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be integral in providing psychotherapy services to students facing various mental health challenges. Your responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based best practices.

• Utilizing various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) based on the preferences of students.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including educators and school psychologists, to coordinate care effectively.

• Engaging in peer reviews and case consultations to continuously improve the quality of our services.

• Providing educational resources and support to students and their families regarding mental health and available services.

• Staying current with research and best practices in mental health to enhance therapeutic techniques and client outcomes.

• Managing a caseload of students, ensuring timely follow-ups and adjustment of treatment plans as necessary.

Your client focus will primarily be students within school settings who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or life transitions. Your role is pivotal in fostering resilience, enhancing coping strategies, and supporting academic success through mental health interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in providing psychotherapy services.
