This position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office located in Cape Coral, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care plans for each patient, tailoring therapeutic interventions that align with their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure quality time and attention is dedicated to each individual, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Utilize diagnostic and evaluative skills to assess the functional abilities of orthopedic patients and develop effective treatment plans based on their unique challenges.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities that promote mobility and strength.
• Focus on non-surgical approaches to treatment, emphasizing the importance of lifestyle modifications and functional independence.
• Continuously assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment details accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Web PT, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and self-care strategies to empower them throughout their recovery.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on orthopedic rehabilitation, targeting patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that affect their musculoskeletal system. This includes athletes looking to return to specific sports, elderly patients seeking to regain mobility, and individuals managing long-term conditions. The diverse patient base will provide you with a rich variety of clinical cases to support your growth as a physical therapist.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy methods, backed by practical experience in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to a broad range of patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic health records software, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to staying current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy techniques through continuing education.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient clinic setting, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic care.
• Experience with diverse patient populations, including specialized sports medicine cases.
• Background in developing wellness programs that encompass preventive care and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
