Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual in-home therapy sessions and group therapy sessions at our outpatient clinic as needed, ensuring a comfortable and safe space for clients.

• Implement strategies to reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injury (SIB) and physical violence by employing evidence-based techniques for anger management and social skills enhancement.

• Collaborate with caregivers to improve decision-making and problem-solving capabilities to effectively address and manage in-home behavioral challenges.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary Child Family Treatment Team, actively contributing to case planning and treatment reviews to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all client-related records, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to compliance standards.

• Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings, providing insights and recommendations for continual improvements in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on providing intensive therapeutic services to children aged 3-20 who experience developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our unique approach integrates parental involvement to ensure treatment is holistic, addressing both the child’s needs and caregiving dynamics. Therapists are encouraged to design individualized treatment plans that resonate with the specific challenges of each family, significantly contributing to improved behavioral and emotional outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Tennessee is essential.

• Candidates must be available for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, typically from 4 PM to 7 PM, with weekend availability being a distinct advantage.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory to visit clients for in-home sessions.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, will be required before onboarding.

Compensation and Benefits\n
