Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will perform the following critical functions:

• Conduct individual in-home treatment sessions and group therapy within our outpatient clinic, adapting methods to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behaviors (SIB) and physical violence, utilizing evidence-based skills training in anger management and social interactions.
\n
• Work closely with parents and caregivers to enhance their decision-making capacities, addressing specific behavioral challenges faced in the home environment.
\n
• Engage collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and external specialists to create integrated treatment strategies that benefit the child and family.
\n
• Complete required documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes punctually to support continuity of care.
\n
• Attend regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 suffering from developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping this vulnerable population navigate their emotional and psychological needs, fostering stronger relationships with their families and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• A minimum availability of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM) and some flexibility on weekends.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for in-home sessions.
\n
• Clearance through a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, the following experiences are considered advantageous:

Compensation and Benefits\n
