Work Environment

Our outpatient office provides an inviting and professional atmosphere, designed to enhance patient comfort and recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Assess new patients thoroughly to identify their unique movement limitations, pain sources, and rehabilitation goals, ensuring a patient-centric approach.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual evaluations, utilizing a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities aimed at restoring function.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure quality time with each patient, fostering an environment conducive to effective therapy.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of adherence to therapy, empowering them to take charge of their health.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatments that reduce reliance on medications, emphasizing holistic approaches to recovery.
• Utilize EMR software, such as Web PT, for precise documentation of patient care, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate with surgeons, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care and recovery.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.

• Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, especially Web PT, to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective therapeutic exercise programs tailored to a wide range of conditions.
• Familiarity with sports medicine and a passion for working with active populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
