Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to diagnose mental health conditions, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) as part of creating evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.

• Engage with students and their families to provide outpatient therapy tailored to their unique needs, particularly those facing challenges due to cancer diagnoses or related health issues.

• Monitor patient progress continuously, implementing strategic interventions to support mental health goals and ensuring alignment with collaborative treatment plans.

• Document and maintain accurate treatment records and clinical information promptly and in compliance with regulatory standards using advanced healthcare technologies.

• Foster teamwork by coordinating referrals and ensuring effective communication between patients and various healthcare providers, enhancing the continuum of care.

• Serve as a mentor and educator for students, interns, and other team members, promoting compassionate care and sharing knowledge to uplift the skills of the team.
